So, like pretty much every other woman on the face of this Earth, i love chocolate. Especially dark chocolate. The thing is, a lot of chocolate bars, that have good ingredients, are really expensive. So, I decided I was going to make my own! I altered a recipe from WellnessMama, and my chocolate baby was born!
What you need:
Double boiler (or small pot & glass bowl that you can put in it, without it touching the bottom)
1 c. Cacao Butter
1/4 c. Solid Honey
1 c. Cacao Powder
Cupcake Pan
Cupcake Liners
Instructions:
Add about 1/2 – 1 in. water in bottom of small pot, and put glass bowl on top. Add the cacao butter and honey to bowl, and turn oven burner on medium-low heat.
Once cacao butter and honey is melted, stir in cacao powder. Once combined and smooth, pour into cupcake pan lined with cupcake liners. I try to make them equal by using a spoon.
Once all chocolate is in the pan, put in freezer until solid.
These can be stored in the refrigerator or at room temp.
Some great things to add to the chocolate are almonds, raisins, coconut, etc.
