Simple Chia Seed Pudding Recipe (V, GF, SF)

Chia seed pudding is (do people even say that anymore?). Its so easy to make, and is great to make overnight for a quick, easy, and satisfying breakfast the next morning. All it takes is some chia seeds, any nut milk of your choice, and some flavor! That’s it!

This can be made completely smooth, or with whole chia seeds, you choose!

Maybe once you get the hang of it, your chia seed pudding will look like the two pictured!

This recipe is: Vegan, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, Oil-Free, and Can be raw if you use raw seeds and nut milk

Serves: 4

What You Need:

2 cups nut milk of choice (almond milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, etc.)

1/2 cup chia seeds

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

3 tbsp Agave (or any other sweetener of your choice)


  1. For completely smooth: put all ingredients into a blender, and process until completely smooth.
  2. For whole chia seeds: Blend all ingredients, besides the seeds. Stir chia seeds in with the mixture.
  3. Pour mixture into a glass container, and place in the fridge overnight.
  4. In the morning you have a gelatinous (one of my favorite words, btw), scrumptious pudding, perfect for breakfast!

If you want to add other flavors like cacao powder, more sweetness, less sweetness, or some fruit on top, feel free! This recipe is so versatile, that’s why I like it so much. 🙂
