Top 5 Best Techniques to Heal Leaky Gut

Are you not absorbing the nutrients from your food? Are you feeling lousy, sluggish, and constipated? Do you have sudden bursts of diarrhea? You probably have leaky gut. I’m not saying this from a “I’m diagnosing you right now!” point of view. Mostly because I can’t (I don’t even know you), but I’m also not a doctor.

Although, most doctors don’t even acknowledge Leaky Gut, or Intestinal Permeability, as being a real disorder. Well, let me tell you, it definitely is. I have had it. I am healing it, now, and feel so much better, but I know how it feels to not know what is going on with your body. I know how it feels to feel bloated after eating a normal meal. I know how it feels to have a soy sensitivity (I still do, hence “Soy-Free”). I want to help people who are feeling this way, and I also want to let vegans know, it CAN be done. You don’t have to eat meat, drink bone broth, or drink/eat dairy. Actually, the vegan way is better because meat and dairy are so inflammatory to your bowel. If you need more individual help, I have a program to help vegans heal their leaky guts! Let’s get to the point, and to the reason you found this article!

Top 5 Best Techniques to Heal Leaky Gut

1. Take an MSM Sulfur Supplement

MSM is a type of sulfur crystal supplement you can buy from: happybodystore.com. Sulfur used to be found in the soil on farms where plants are grown, but since the start of using pesticides/herbicides and over working the earth, a lot of nutrients have been depleted from the soil, including Sulfur (another being Vitamin B-12). MSM helps to replenish your body of this vital nutrient, and along the way, helps to rebuild your intestinal wall. About a week after I started taking MSM, I noticed a big difference in my skin, and bowel movements. All for the better! Watch my video here:

2. Drink This Smoothie

Healing Leaky Gut takes more than taking some supplements. You have to give your gut what it needs, and let it rest. A smoothie is a great breakfast, and gets you moving in the morning! This smoothie recipe was made by me, specifically to help with healing leaky gut. It has: Cabbage, Parsley, and Spirulina, which are all beneficial to the gut. See the recipe here: Vegan Leaky Gut Smoothie

3. Do a Colon Cleanse

You’ve probably heard of these. The forbidden cleanses that make you have diarrhea, and feel like crap (no joke intended). How about a gentle cleanse, that cleans you out, and replenishes your probiotics? Sound good? I know it does! I’ve done this a couple times, and will be doing it again soon! This is the one I do. I vouch for Global Healing Center, therefor, if you buy that cleanse after clicking the link, I will get a small commission. I never promote something I don’t use or trust myself! 4. Exercise

Exercise is great all the time, but when you’re trying to heal something, its even more essential! Exercise helps to detox your body. When you sweat, you are detoxing. When you breathe heavy, you are detoxing. Exercise is also great to do when you are doing the colon cleanse mentioned above. It helps get your bowels moving better, and makes you “go” more frequently.

5. Relax, and De-Stress

Stress can have a major affect on your health, especially gut health. Do whatever you need to do to feel relaxed. Take deep breaths, a hot bath (with bath salts & essential oils!!), go for a walk in nature. When you are stressed, your immune system gets depleted. Therefor, it is much harder to heal, but if you take actions of self care, you feel better, and more confident in healing.

Now that you know my Top 5 Techniques for Healing Leaky Gut, you can now take the steps needed to fully heal. I am a Vegan Health Coach, and will gladly give you a personalized program to help you to heal your leaky gut! Learn More
