Ahhhhh. Peanut Butter and Jelly. A childhood favorite. But who needs all that sugar and oil when you want a healthy snack? No one. That’s who. This smoothie is perfect for your childhood favorite fix, without all the bread, oil and sugar.
What You Need: Yields – 2 servings
1/2 cup Frozen blueberries
2 ripe bananas
2 tbsp Peanut Butter or Almond Butter (try to find one that is free of extra oils, sugar, etc.) I get the organic one from Trader Joe’s. It has nothing but peanuts.
1 cup purified water (find out why purified here)
Place all ingredients into blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into two glasses.
